The screech shook Vivian back fully to the Skarmory, but even before it had she was already reacting. Her muscles tensed, and she swiftly backed away from the attack, but she knew that she couldn't outrun it. Instead she turned, bracing for it and protecting her injured shoulder.
Note and his remaining Pokémon arrived soon enough to see Austrays' Steel Wing cut through Vivian's mist. Note's eyebrows rose above the rim of his black sunglasses, and he opened his mouth to cry out, to say something, but he knew it was too late.
The Umbreon at his side, however, was not so quick to realize the futility of a call. The shaggy black fur on his shoulders rose and his red eyes widened to saucers. "[Mom!]" he barked, so loudly that his front paws left the ground. As he shot forward Donetello jumped in front of him, and he bounced off the Houndoom's shoulders harmlessly and stumbled back. Helpless, he stood, rigid, and watched.

Zap was still wipping around the tree, his body glowing golden with building electricity. All the running giving him enough power to run all off Celadon city for at least a day. But he glanced, and Saw the mutant tense, his mind instantly thinking the worse as he also saw Austrays falling from the sky, "[Oh no!]" was all he could etch out in the time it took his body to take over his mind. In a mere instant, he stopped, roaring out as he reared up on his hind paws, electricity flowing over him as a blinding arua intensified and enveloped his form. And from the aura, a lightning bolt shot out, arcing towards it's target as the heavens roared with thunder, as if heeding the call of his domain. But the arc spred, sending a sheer wave of electricity that washed over the mutant, leaving no dooubt of her paralyzation.
Austrays was not spared either though. Her slicing descent was halted as her body went rigid, the lightning had robbed her of her movement. And so, she fell to earth, but not of her will or accord. Her reunion with the ground was met with a loud crash as it buckled beneath her and sent out a billowing cloud of pushing wind, and dust that flung the helpless mutant onto the same side as her injury with some force.
The Aura around Zap receded seconds after, his breath heavy as he looked to what he had done, his eyes growing even wider than their norm, only able to whisper again, though with horror in his tone, "[Oh no...]"

Vivian slammed into her injured shoulder with enough force to send her skidding toward her trainer and her team. The wind was knocked out of her, and a stunning pain shot through her shoulder as it came in contact with the ground. Her mouth opened wide in a silent scream as she came to a slow stop at Note's feet, and she thrashed once before the paralysis numbed her limbs completely. Her eyes squeezed shut in agony and her sides heaved, but she could not move her limbs.
Note dropped to his knees, and the Umbreon ran to him, staring at the mutant in terror. The trainer looked over his shoulder; his Arcanine was already standing there, holding his bag in his mouth, and the blonde took it from him and pulled out a Full Restore. He began applying it to Vivian tentatively, and while her wounds healed and her paralysis began to ebb, it did little for the pain in her shoulder; even as her battle wounds healed she stayed still, her eyes squeezed shut and her jaw clenched. Note frowned in concern.
Chance ran from his hiding spot now, guided by Lemondrop, who had a tight grip on the thick hair on his neck and was more or less guiding him. They came to a stop beside Vivian, and Chance frowned in concern, but his worry was nowhere near the level that the Umberon's worry had reached. The Espeon looked from the mutant to the Skarmory and the Jolteon, and Lemondrop hopped off his back and bounded toward Zap. "[Good going. You done now?]" the tiny Pikachu asked nonchalantly.

Zap's maw opened, but no words came to him. Just what had he done? He only meant to paralyze the mutant enough to stop this all... But what he did. It was monstorous of him. All he could do was lay himself down, his legs finding themselves unable to support him as his ears drooped. His eyes glazed over and became half lidded. Even hearing the words come from the tiny pikachu made him visibly flinch, like someone had punched him even. All he did now was stare at the scene he made...
Austrays laid there in the massive crater, her wings spread out as if she were still going to strike with her attack. Were her beak not held shut from the paralysis, she'd more than likely be stringing off numerous curses and obscenities. She hurt. She hurt a lot. And pray Zap could still run FAST when she got her mobility back.
A rush of wind was upon him as he stashed the Pokéball into his pants, grabbing the brim of his hat as he jumped down from the tree, revealing himself to everyone. The song on his player had ceased, but as he landed with what seemed great practice, he stood up, changing the song and lowering the volume for his ears only with a quick shove of his hand into his pocket. Bount then made his way over to the crater Austrays had made, seemingly unaware, or just ignoring, the presence of the other people. He passed the now distant Zap and slid into the crater, pulling his own full restore from another pocket on his cargoe pants. In turn, he began to apply the healing solution to Austrays, allowing it to seep in and heal her wounds.

Lemondrop blinked in surprise at the look on the Jolteon's face. She glanced back at Vivian, who was still refusing to move despite the fact that her injuries had healed, and then down at the Skarmory, who was nursing a Full Restore. "[Zap,]" she said, hurrying to him and pushing his shoulder to try and get his attention, "[Snap out of it.]"
At the sound of the Pikachu's voice Note lifted his eyes, though the movement was completely undetectable from behind his glasses. He stiffened, and his hand coiled around the empty bottle of Full Restore as if he expected it to protect him. He hardly seemed to notice the other trainer or his Pokémon as his gazed fixed on the tiny yellow rodent. Was it her? It had to be. And she was not supposed to be here.
His gaze shifted suddenly to the Espeon, who started in surprise and looked back at him blankly. Seeing that he would get no answer from staring the psychic-type down, he looked around the woods, in search of something that would explain the Pikachu's presence.

Zap didn't react. He couldn't react. He'd sunk in deep within his own mind, so far the outside world wasn't ever there. He'd escaped it, but now he was his worst judge. What had he done? How could he do such a thing? Was he some kind of dangerous beast? He hadn't meant to release so much power. It all came out... He'd no idea it was even there.
Austrays was no happy camper, even as the restorative properties of the medicine took effect. The medicine was healing her, but the paralysis had numbed the pain from her burn earlier, and now that was back. She forced herself to keep quiet. Her blasted bravado getting the better of her as she forced herself to sit and wait for the pain to subside. But she'd be fine after this and probably a night of rest.
Like he was on a schedule, Bount left Austrays side; a face, or what was visible of his face, still remained that ominous neutral expression. He walked over to Zap's side, and sat himself down. His hand then rested on the Jolteon's head, but made no move. He was there for Zap, but he couldn't force Zap from whatever had him absorbed from this reality.

Note's head turned slightly as his eyes focused on the trainer now, who had risen out of the crater like an alien that had crash-landed. He watched in dumbfounded silence as the young man strolled over to the Jolteon, knelt, and put his hand on his head, and Lemondrop- he was sure it was Lemondrop now -took a step back, almost reverently.
With the tiniest hint of a frown Note turned back to Vivian, pulled out her Pokéball, and withdrew her. He could not do anything for her now, and though he knew that she hated being inside a Pokéball more than anything he could name, it was what she needed. The Umbreon let out a distraught whimper and Note petted his head comfortingly before slowly standing. He stared at the trainer blankly for a minute before speaking, in a perfectly objective voice. "Hey. I take it these other Pokémon are yours."

Bount failed to answer, his free hand reached into his pocket once again messing with his music that switched over to another song filled with an ungodly fast Bpm (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMQpcCuxAHg) and turning up his volume enough for everyone to hear, especialy Zap. Who while he remained silent and withdrawn, lifted his head enough to rest it in Bount's lap. All the while, Austrays was in her crater, cursing up a storm in her mind as she started being able to move her limbs, albeit lethargiclly.

Lemondrop's tail began to twitch to the beat of the music, as her gaze shifted between Zap and Bount. She slowly approached again, standing by the Jolteon's head, and she cocked her head to the side, looking for any reaction from him.
Note watched the exchange uneasily, unsure if the Jolteon was hurt or not. His gaze shifted to the Skarmory in the crater, and he watched her movements with a bemused expression before sparing a glance at his own team. As he did the Arcanine shuffled around his cimpanions and approached the crater slowly. He crouched and tilted his head to the side as his gaze landed on the Skarmory. "[Are you okay?]" he asked.

Aside from the slight comfort of Bount's presence, Zap still remained unresponsive. But, as the music began, flowing into his ears, he felt he could relax a little. He nuzzled himself further into Bounts lap, resting his front legs and head on his Trainer's legs, who began to gently scritch his head, offering some further comfort.
Austrays gave a grunt, her beak finaly loose enough to speak as she rose from the ground, still very lethargic as the paralysis slowly faded. Once she was on her feet and able to fold her wings to her side, she stretched her neck, desperatley trying to loosen herself. "[Just... Stiff.]" Though while it was true, just because her health was back, didn't mean her energy was. She was tired too, and really could use a rest. Though she looked up to the newcomer from her deep crater with a tilted head, "[Oh... I remember you.]"

The Arcanine tilted his head to the side with a surprised look on his face. "[You do?]" he asked. ""

Austrays made her way out of the deep crater, she gave it a quick once over glance, somewhat surprised at it. It was a new record for her. But soon she was back at groun level and sauntered past the arcanine, her head shaking briefly, "" Her glare went a bit cross as she initially saw Zap, about ready to rant at him untill his ears fell off. But when she saw his expression, she could only give a sigh, and returned to periodically stretching her limbs. She knew how Zap felt, he just loved to have fun, not hurt others, so she left him be.

The Arcanine backed away to give the metal bird more space as she climbed out of the crater. He looked at her thoughtfully, trying to remember where he would have seen her; it was eat at his conscience if he did not have an answer, even if she assured him that it should not.
His gaze shifted to the Jolteon, and his floppy ears lowered apprehensively, as he, like his trainer, was not sure if he was hurt or not.

Austrays gave a casual glance back towards the Arcanine, easily reading his facil expressions like an open book. She hefts a sigh that sounded like a mix of frustration and empathy, "[He's fine. He just... Doesn't know his own strength. And as you can see, he doesn't like knowing.]" as she finished, one last span of her wings assured her recovery as she felt the paralysis vanish from her body finally, though it didn't take away the fact she was dead tired. Nothing could have made her happier than a place to roost for the night. And speaking of night, a brief glance up revealed it to be nearing sunset. Time certainly flies when your life is on the line.
Zap, while still ever so slowly, began to recover from his depression. His recovery though, was met with his usual immersion into the bass heavy speedcore, a faint smile crawling across his visage as his eyes closed, proving him to be without a doubt the Pokémon rendition of his Trainer, who was still scratching the top of his head as his face was pointed straight forward. It was anyone's guess at what he was looking at, but that was -always- the case with him and that hat.

The Arcanine drew back and returned to his trainer's side as the Skarmory replied to him. as he returned Note leaned against his shoulder lightly, and half of his side sank into the long orange fur of the fire dog. The blonde's eyes were fixed on the other trainer and his Jolteon, but he was beginning to gather that he was not going to get a response.
Finally he left the circle of his Pokémon and approached the other trainer with Donetello at his side. He stopped in front of him, looking down at Lemondrop first as she skirted around him and ran back to the Espeon. Then he slowly turned back to the trainer. "Where did you find that Pikachu?"
