Austrays gave a small chuckle, the angry mutant giving her nothing less than what she wanted as she took reign of the conversation, testing to see just how far she could play with the two as she made her reply to the both, "[My, my. Mammals and their markings.]" her voice carriying the wind of her still chiding tone, smirking amusedly, "" It was too easy for her, they were practicly asking for the insult by leaving themselves open like that. This was definitley gonna be fun.

Austrays quirked a brow, toying with this mutant was like molding putty, just so easy. Though she couldn't resist throwing back at the mutant in a sing sone tone, "" but she then turned back to the Houndoom, blinking in a bit of surprise to see such level-headedness. And with nothing to poke at, she could only answer his question. For all he knew, she was being completely honest with him. Why would a single Pokémon, at a height dissadvantage in a crater, piss off two Pokémon on the same side? Because it was fun, is why.
Her tone carried out her answer with a mock impression of a regular Skarmory, seeing if her guile was enough to fool him all the way, "[ I simply want to know why you're in -my- territory. These hunting grounds are mine.]"

Vivian's eyes narrowed, and her lip curled dangerously. She let out another enraged snarl that made Donetello pause, unsure if she was about to attack or not. But she showed restraint; the Houndoom could not fathom why.
His gaze turned quickly back to the Skarmory as he scrutinized her answer. He did not completely buy it, but he had no reason not to. "[We're simply on our way and we stopped to rest. We meant no harm,]" he replied curtly.

Austrays gave a nod, were she showing how she felt on the inside, she'd be squaking with hysterical laughter at the mutant. Though so far the two did seem peaceful, but that didn't mean she should be. She could hear Zap's whispers from earlier, she knew he was watching, and could be here in less than a millasecond. So instead, she continued her farce with a casual glance to the mutant, smirking amusedly still, but then looked back to the houndoom, her tone now carried a song of light cheeriness, and the same hypnotic feeling in her words. "[Then I suggest you pack up and continue on your way.]" her tone then shifted like a romance to a trgedy, aiming to show she was just as unpredictable as any stranger, and not to be taken lightly, "[... Before things ugly for you two and your friends.]"

Donetello began to speak, but before he could get a word out Vivian interjected hotly. "[Bullshit! We're not going anywhere! We didn't do a damn thing to get kicked out and I am not going anywhere!]"
Donetello flinched at the tone of her voice, grimacing. "[Vivian-]"
"[Kiss my bum, Donetello, I will not let this git talk to me like I'm a piece of trash!]" the mutant vociferated, her voice suddenly switching to a light British accent. "[Now you can move on and let us be or I can boil you to a puddle of Mercury! I'm quite fine with either option, it's all up to you!]"
A sickly black smog-like mist was beginning to billow around Vivian's paws, a strange mix between dark energy and fire that made even Donetello take a step back. He knew from experience that the smog was sickly enough to even make him, a dark-type, light-headed, and hot as fire. And when she was like this, she could barely control it. The Houndoom also knew that once her voice went from street-slang to proper British dialect, it was time to take a step back.

Austrays had two different reactions. On the outside, she merely chuckled again, looking back to the mutant, still smiling at her, "[Vivian was it? What a shame. It's a beautiful name.]" as if egging her on, playing oblivious to the smog around its feet. But on the inside, her paranoia, caution, and instincts were in unison, screaming ONE thing, *IF it fights, take it down FAST* and it was probably right. Though in the meantime, she shifted her stance ever so slightly and easily unnoticable to the two, ensuring a clean dodge Should an attack come her way.
Zap stared intensley, his body tensing and sparks discharging from his body, singing the grass beneath him. In his mind he was racing through thoughts, "[Who do I go for? The F*** is that smog?! Where are the others Austrays mentioned??]" His mind was in a tizzy, but luckily, his body was ready to charge right into either one of the two Pokémon. Their flanks were completely open. He could probably break all their ribs on one side if he ran fast enough. But, it'd have to be in a dropkick so he could jump off. No use bashing someone if you get bashed too.

Vivian let out a feral snarl, and black flames whisked from between her teeth. In one swift motion she shot a black-purple flame from her mouth, the flame firing like a torpedo instead of building up in front of her as they often did with fire attacks. The attack was pure rage; though she aimed, she obviously did not care if she hit her target, as the flames hungrily latched on to any wood they came in contact with and lapped away at the trees and plants. The area ignited like a sauna at the initial blast and then dwindled, but a few branches had caught and were quickly being demolished by the black dark fire.
Donetello looked away as she let out the blast, and as he looked at the damage done he turned and dashed back toward their camp without a word. It was better to be out of the way now; he'd have to get help before this got out of hand. He had seen Vivian destroy acres when she was less agitated than she was now, and he did not want to see this place burn down like other places had. But he would need help to stop her... if he could.
Lemondrop was watching the exchange as intently as Zap was, holding onto his back as tightly as she could as she felt the energy building up around them. Her eyes were wide, filled with interest as she watched the scene objectively, as if she was watching a movie. But she was completely submerged.
And then, breaking her concentration, came the comparatively loud exclamation of a single word behind her that shot her into the air in surprise and made her cry out: "[Lemondrop!]"
She landed back on Zap's back, her cheeks buzzing with electricity, and spun around to face the voice. Standing several feet back with an inquisitive gaze and a tense stance was the Espeon, his ears perked and the end of his abnormally long tail quivering slightly.

Austrays barely had to move. The attack was strong, but messy and innacurate. A quick hop to her right gave her the perfect position, still standing and smiling smugly, completely unscratched. In the split second she dodged her mind raced with calculated thoughts. This mutant was powerful, but easily goated. With the right words, she could probably get it to jump off a cliff. But she was more concerned on her reaction. She had a façade she needed to keep, and another insult to throw at her. But she noticed something else. She had a limp in her right leg. In her mind she knew exactly how to fight her now. She wouldn't even need to screech. As the flames died down, she gave the two a bit of a show as she plummed her metal wing feathers, as if casually cleaning herself. she craned her neck back up from the attention of her wing as it folded to her side and tilted her head, her tone in a song of cooing, "[Oh. Are you finished?]"
Zap heard the little pikachu's name called from behind, but he had worse issues. That houndoom was running towards the camp. In an instant, he was gone in a long streak of arced lightning, leaving the poor pikachu, who was no longer holding onto him, to fall to the ground with a "thump". It didn't even take him a millasecond. The Houndoom's dash was interrupted as Zap raced across his path, so close the arc of lightning singed its nose. He then circled him, leaving him momentarily in a close knit yellow ring before stopping right in front of him, buzzing with electricity that literally was pouring off him now, his body idly bouncing with an ungodly amount of energy waiting to be unleashed, "[Hey again! Can't let you do that, buddy!]" The half grin on his face was almost stupid, were his eyes not intensley locked on the Houndoom's every move.

"[Just getting started,]" the mutant snarled with a sinister grin, the dark substance around her billowing out in clouds now. All at once she sent it purposefully spiraling from her in a wickedly powerful Dark Pulse attack. It rose like a morbid wave at the Skarmory, moving fast enough to catch her, even with her reflexes.
Donetello skidded to a halt, his red eyes widening at surprise as the sight of the Jolteon. "[You... Let me guess, you are with the Skarmory.]" He let out an exasperated sound that fell somewhere between a sigh and a growl. ""
Lemondrop let out another surprised cry as Zap disappeared from under her and she landed face-first on the ground. She picked herself up, glaring after the illuminated trail that he had left behind.
Chance hurried to her and nosed her to her feet. "[What are you doing with that guy?]" he asked.
"[Long story,]" the Pikachu muttered in agitation, jumping onto his long muzzle and climbing to the top of his head. "[Just sit back and watch, you don't need another bruise. Stupid team...]"
"[Uh... Okay,]" the Espeon responded slowly, sitting and peering at the ongoing battle. His eyebrows rose, and his ears flattened against his skull. As he spoke his voice lowered to a wary murmur, as if he feared being overheard. "[Wow, Vivian's pretty upset. This isn't good, isn't it?]"
"[Which is why we're staying put,]" Lemondrop concluded, tapping the misshaped red orb on his forehead hard enough that it made a sound.

Austrays did her best to dodge again, whisking to the skies in a rush of air, but not fast enough. The pulse managed to land a glancing blow, searing her metal body with a momentary red hot palour. She could've screeched in pain, but she had a feeling this thing would only love to hear it. Instead, she stifled her cry and shoved it deep down inside. She was getting exactly what she wanted, she could see it's strength now. But she may be outmatched. She could go for that limp right now, but she had to gauge the mutant fully. The smog wasn't too much of a worry, if it was any sort of poison she'd be fine. But the heat from that attack was unnatural, another thing that she didn't like. The best she could do now was tire it out, and wait for an opening... If she survived long enough to see that opening. But she couldn't stop her taunting now, she came too far to drop the ruse, and she didn't want the mutant knowing she had been tricked, "[Coming to blows already?]" She called down from the skies, ""
Zap tilted his head, finally looking to the burning tree. He didn't dare look up, He knew who was in the tree, but he didn't want them to know as well. Instead he gave a quick, almost seemingly unnecessary shake of each of his legs, like he was loosening up for a light jog. His nose wrinkled at some horrid odor in the air, trying his best not to blech. Instead he shifted his focus to the tree, still speaking to the houndoom, "[Right... Stay put.]" and with that he dashed off towards the tree, hoping he'd go unnoticed by the two fighting as he held his breath, looking up to Bount from the corner of his eyes, and seeing him still there, as if he had no idea he was sitting in a burning tree... Nonetheless, he bagan to whip around the tree, pushing himself as fast as he could, purposley digging his paws into the ground to kick up dirt. He'd usually never do such a thing, it was horrible for your speed. But he had one of two goals; Either create enough of an updraft to blow out the fire, or kick up enough dirt to smother it.
Bount pulled down on the brim of his hat, as if securing it in place while he held up the strange Pokéball in his palm. His thumb was jsut below one of the five locks on the ball, though it didn't budge. As if he were strongly reluctant to open any one of them, but in the end, his reluctance wouldn't matter in an emergency...

The black-purple flames billowed and writhed under the Jolteon's speed, but eventually they did begin to go out, albeit slowly. The smoke that resulted from them was about half the intensity as the dark energy of the Dark Pulse attack, without the punch, but it darkened the air and made it heavy with the scent of smoke.
"[Yes, I have been told that once or twice,]" the mutant replied in a cynical witty tone, the British accent coming more naturally now. She cast a demonic grin toward the Skarmory, and as the smoke fell between her and it she faded to darkness, and her eyes glowed a brighter red. Even through the ruse she could tell that she had at least singed her, and she knew that it had to hurt. But she wanted to hear her pain. Then maybe she would be pacified a little bit.
Her paws were planted where she was, and she did not think she would have to move to do that. She sucked in a breath and blew a sickly black flame into the sky toward the metal bird. It enveloped the entire sky, singing the trees and blotting out the light. The air raised to an ungodly temperature, and the trees sizzled as the water boiled right out of them. Even if the attack did not hit, the entire space was a soaring temperature now.
Donetello started in surprise as the Jolteon disappeared, and he looked over his shoulder, watching as the flames slowly dwindled and went out. His eyebrows rose; he was impressed. He had yet to see something that so quickly put out Vivian's flames beside water. Lots of water... sometimes. His eyes narrowed as he peered through the growing darkness into the tree. He thought had had seen something there, but it was hard to tell now. Was there a figure up there? Why else would the Jolteon want to put out the tree?

Zap would probably vomit fromt he utter stench in the air had he not been holding his breath, the heat alone that had suddenly risen made his stomach turn, but he managed the job he'd intended. All the smoke was almost unbearable though. He and Austrays could easily see through the smog, but he wondered how Bount was faring... But he looked over to the mutant as he continued to funnel around the trunk of the tree, with the fire out though, he could pick up his speed. His claws no longer dug in and kicked up the earthen soil, now they simply glided along, but the strength to keep the speed he had while doing so had stressed him some. He could feel the fatigue starting to creep, but at the moment it was nothing. His only concern now was to create a wind tunnel that would keep out all that weird smoke, and keep Bount safe. But with each pass around the ree, his eyes fell on that mutant, who was wide open to him... But he couldn't step in, he had his own task right now. It was Austrays problem now.
The air about him whipped around, but by either luck, or maybe some kind of glue, Bount's headphones and hat were still securely upon his head. His thumb that had been hesitant at the lock began to move, but his head turned touwards the idrection of the fight, and changed his agenda. He reached up with his free hand, pulling headphones to around his neck, then reaching to his musicplayer, carefully selecting a song and pumping his headphones to full volume. A slow and sad chime began to ring out, and swirl happily around Austrays (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWIThRtc4no)
A wiity comeback, this was different. She managed to sway out fromt he attack, but only barely. Austrays fully realized that evasive tactics wouldn't help her now. She may be fast, but fire was faster. She did notice something though, both of her attacks... She was stationary. She could capatilize on that, but the risk was to great, it would be suicide to... Her caution instantly went quiet inside her, the chime of one of her favorite songs was ringing. Bount knew she was in trouble. If her beak could move, it'd be spread into one wide grin. Though she settled with the corners of her mouth curling up and her glare focusing onto the mutant. The air around was seething, Thank goodness Zap wasn't totally brainless, or Bount might be a dried corpse from these tempuatures. All she needed now was one more attack, this had gone on long enough, "[Well maybe the third time will be the charm?]" her tone sange in tune with the Ambience, ringing with mockery "[Spitting fire is so unbecoming, you know.]"

"[My very existence is unbecoming,]" Vivian sneered, her eyes narrowing to cynical slits through the darkness. "[Why fight it?]"
Her anger was fading and turning to amusement; now she was just having fun. It was rare that she got to fight an opponent strong enough that she did not have to hold back. Even if she was not beating her into a pulp, this toying was fun, and a rather fine stress reliever. Nothing like boiling the very air around you to relieve some tension. And of course, the pain. The more pain, the better. One or two more balls of fire would raise the air another couple degrees and that metal bird would fall from the sky like it was struck by lightning, boiling alive.
She paused as she heard the music, and one of her ears swivled on her head to find the source of it. She did not take her eyes off Austrays as she pinpointed it. In the tree. Well, that explained what that stupid Jolteon was doing. It was grating; pointless frustrating sound that gave her a headache. She scowled. It was taking away form her focus and she didn't think she could risk the distraction if she was going to actually land a blow.
Donetello's reaction was much the same as Vivian's at the sound of the music. He narrowed his eyes and tried to peer through the smog toward the tree again, but when he could not make out the shape of the source of the music he gave up, let out a frustrated grunt, and bolted back toward his camp again.

Austrays couldn't wait. The moment was too perfect, music flowed through her like a crashing wave of ecstacy. She couldn't even feel the pain from earlier, and she saw that even though The mutant's eyes were locked on her, the twitching ears proved her mind elsewhere. With a tuck of her wings, she fell. And fell HARD. In a complete nosedive, her beak opened wide, letting out a horribly shrill cry that would send shivers through even a dense Relicanth. Her wings opened up in an instant as she reached the apex of the dive, and slowly, a white palour enveloped her wings. This was a steel wing attack, and it was aimed for that limping leg. If she took the screech, She'd not have time to dodge her, and if she dodged the screech, Austrays could easily arc into her. There was no escape. A smile played upon the corners of her beak. She had won.
