"Don't lie, Brook, you know you did too," Don said boldly, narrowing his eyes mischeiviously.
"Hm, that's probably true," the snake Pokémon mused. "Firecracker," she called, getting the Electrike's attention. "Come here for a moment."
Shw turned and trotted to the snake, tilting his head curiously. "Yes?" She said, before turning to Flint and Otto and dipping her head politely. "Oh, hello! Nice to meet you!"
"Radio tower... I don't remember that either!" Note laughed. "How long ago was that?"

Brook huffed stubbornly. "I'm sure you enjoyed it more," she insisted, claws kneading into the ground.
Asher blinked curiously as his muse was called away from him. "Hey, what's going on?" he called to the trio, brows furrowed.
Flint nodded in sync with Otto. The two were basically brothers, growing up together their whole life. "It's nice to meet you, too," Otto grinned, dipping his head to the Electrike. "Yeah. I'm Flint and this is Otto."
"That was today," she blinked awkwardly. She didn't understand... He couldn't remember anything?

Don's smirk widened. "Oh, I don't know about that..."
"I'm Firecracker, but you can call me Fire for short if you like. What did you want, Halloween? I had to walk away from Asher, and that was rather rude."
The serviper exchanged a matter-of-fact look with Otto and Flint. "I just wanted to show you off to our new friends. Tou shouldn't spend all you time with one Pokémon, there are so many here."
The Electrike beamed at the comment, and Halloween smiled back at her. They had always been like big brother and little sistereven though they were close to the same age; Halloween had simply always taken care of Firecracker, and it showed by how much she valued his opinion of hef. Clearly the fact that he wanted to show her off enthralled her.
"Really? I just remember going in... I think." He frowned deeply, suddenly concerned. "Did we win?"

Brook narrowed her eyes challengingly. "I do."
"Nice to meet you," the two repeated, smiling wistfully. "Yeah, there are many Pokémon here. I think there's a good bundle your age, too," Flint smiled, his dark teal ears twitching as he cast out his paw, gesturing towards the sea of Pokémon.
"Yes... Yes, we won," she nodded, laying her hand on his arm gently.

Donetello chuckled but decidednot to egg her on. He changed the subject instead. "How have things been around here? Anything exciting?" He looked from Brook to Chris, leaving the question open for either of them.
The Electrike's eyes shined with curiosity. "Oh?" She followed the direction of Flint's indication.
"Why don't you go find someone to play with, Fire? That sounds like a good idea," Halloween said, nodding. "It will be fun."
Firecracker smiled. "I think I will. Talk to you later then! Goodbye, Asher!" She dipped her head goodvye to the sneasle before bounding off.
"Oh. That's good." Note smiled again. "So what do we do now? You still look so sad..." He reached up and lightly poked her nose.

Chris shook her head. "No, all that's been going on lately is Errol's lessons," she grumbled, deserving a hard stare from her mother. Caving in under the pressure, the Houndour quickly snorted, "What?!"
The Quilava nodded, grinning as the Electrike ran off. "I hope she doesn't get lost." His brows were creased back with a genuine smile.
"I don't think there's much you can do, Note. You're in pitiful condition..." she mumbled coarsely, looking up in surprise as she felt his finger bump against her nose gently.

Don smriked. "You at least have been learning something," he guessed.
"Well. Firecracker has never been hard to find," Halloween chuckled.
"It doesn't seem so pitiful to me," Note said, smiling lightly.

Chris shrugged. "Yeah, I suppose. So then I can beat the shit out of my opponents in the future, right, Mom?" The Houndour wagged her stubby tail as if unaware of the negative air encased around the dark canine.
Brook nodded, beaming. "That's right," she encouraged, ruffling the top of her daughter's fur, smiling like a ruffian.
Otto cocked a brow. "Oh? Why's that?" he inquired, blinking his eyes modestly.
Ellie recoiled slightly. "Note," she whispered seriously. "You died. Your sister's Pikachu zapped you back to life, but listen to me... Your heart stopped. You were gone for a short amount of time."

"Beat the shit out of... that's wonderful." Don rolled his eyes. "Well, how many opponents have you actually fought?"
"Well, aside from being neon colors," the serpant replied, "she generally tends to leave a trail of amused or confused Pokémon everywhere she goes, since she is just so stupidly naive." The potentially offensive words were layered with affection; Halloween only meant the phrase as a statement, and nothing else. He loved Firecracker, but she was so blissfully unaware that he could not even explain to her what she missed.
"Lemondrop?" He said in surprised. "She zapped me? Are you sure she wasn't trying to make sure I was dead? She does hateme after all."

Chris' eyes rolled skyward. "About... three? But they've all been wild Pokémon, not the Pokémon here. Errol and mom sneak me over the fence and we go into the forest and he tests me while mom supervises," she explained. "My first opponent was a Wurmple and I fried that sucker to a crisp!"
Flint chuckled, looking over his shoulder. "I just hope she doesn't make friends with Chris. She's Brook's daughter and she's quite the mischievous rascal." "I think rude degenerate suits her better," Otto grumbled, crossing his arms stubbornly.
Ellie shook her head. "No one can hate you, Note. And you should have seen how proud she was when you were alive again," she sighed, grinning slightly.

"Well done," Don commended, smiling a bit. "But do you think she could take a trained Pokémon?" His eyes glinted with competition. He wanted to see how strong his daughter really was.
Halloween looked at his companions curiously. "Well... I hope she has better sense than that," he said slowly, speaking of Fire.
Note smiled back at her sweetly. "She can hate me, Ellie. And she does. But okay. If you say so."

Brook shrugged. "I don't know. I'd like to think so, but all the Pokémon she's battled she's held a type advantage towards," she muttered quietly to him, earning a suspicious stare from her daughter.
"Hopefully just seeing Chris will send her skyrocketing in the other direction," Otto frowned, looking over his shoulder distantly to where the Elektrike had wandered off.
Ellie sighed, defeated. At least he was smiling again... She liked to see that.

"I'd like to see how well you fight," Donetello told Chris, his eyes shining fondly.
"So I was really dead?" Note mused, his eyes drifted to the ceiling.

"Alright," Chris nodded, dropping to a crouch with her hindquarters wiggling. "If you can find me an opponent," she challenged, tail wiggling.
Ellie nodded. "Yeah... you were."

Don smirked and turned to look into the field. His eyes scanned through the Pokémon, searching primarily for Pokémon he knew. His tail went up as he saw Jusid and Vistoria sitting biredly by themselves. "Judis! Tori!" He called, getting their attention. When they looked up he gestured for them to come forward with a wave of uis tail.
"What is it, Donetello?" Victoria asked, tilting his head to one side.
"How would one of you like to battle my daughter?" He asked, gesturing to the houndour.
Both looked at her, and Victoria's tails wiggled excitedly. "Oh! I would!" She cried happily.
"I will too," Judis yipped, smiling.
Don turned to Chris and pointed at his teammates. "Which would you like to battle?"
Note laughed. "I don't remember. What did you do?" He asked, looking at her curiously.
