"Hello, Chris," Donetello said skftly, his voice tight as he lightly touched his nose to the Houndour hybrid's in greeting. "You don't remember me at all?" It was a stupid question, he knew, butthe question asked itself before he could stop it.
Elliotsmiled at her sweetly. "Oh, no. A lady or a gentleman, I have no bias at all as long as our child is healthy and vibrant. Do you, dear?"

Chris tilted her head. "You're my dad?" She looked over her body. "I guess that explains why I'm a hybrid then, huh?" she commented bluntly, blinking her dark eyes. "And, uh... something about you is familiar, but I would have never guessed that you're my pa'..."
Delilah shook her head. "Oh, no, love. As long as we can be one big happy family, I'm fine with absolutely anything. Regardless of gender, I will love our child unconditionally. As much as I love you."

Donetello smiled. "You were little the last time you saw me. A little scrap of a thing, toddling around aimlessy. You've grown so much since then." He chuckled. "I wish I hadn't missed it. That wasn't fair to you."
"My heart thrums with excitement," Elliot said Euphorically, lightly touching his chest. "I can hardly wait! Oh, Delilah, my dear, how long have you withstood the suspence of knowing that somewhere out there, separated only by a thin shell from the world travels an infant filled with infinate possiblities, and that infant is ourz?"

Chris blinked, listening intently to her supposed father. "Yeah... I didn't recognize you at all before... but it's kind of coming back to me. Kind of," she pressed. She didn't know how to react about this ordeal. Here she was, in the middle of training when the dark canine trots over and Brook announces that this stranger is her father. Was she supposed to be excited? It was so sudden and she was still in her in-training, focused mode. Was she supposed to be mad? Mad that he'd missed part of her childhood? She didn't know.
"Far longer than my patience can handle," she purred, images of possible candidates flashing through her mind. Maybe it was a Cleffa, or a Meowth, or a Nidoran, or a Zigzagoon... There were so many possibilities. It almost seemed endless. "And they're going to be here soon, my love. You don't need to wait hardly as long as I have," she teased, fluttering her seductive blue eyes at the Charizard.
Zane scratched the back of his head, caught in the middle of the ranch. Gingerly prodding Milo with his elbow, he murmured, "Damn... How are we supposed to find the box in such a huge ranch? I almost forgot how big it was."
"Ellie may have expanded the ranch since we last saw it," Milo pointed out quietly, his navy eyes round.

"I don't expect you to remember anything," the Houndoom admitted. "It was a very ling time ago. I live with another trainer, and I couldn't get here, or I would have, I promise. But I'm glad you're well." He could see the puzzldmenf in her eyes, the conusion as to how tonrespond to all this, and again he felt guilty. This simply wasn't faif to her, that here he was trying to know her.
Elliot let out a delighted rumble low in his throat. "Soon. Maybe all this was fod a greater purpoze then," he said hopefully, overoptimistically, he thought.
"How many Pokémon live here?" Tunes inquired, still atuck in a state of awe. She turned to the twins curiously, for the first time that day taking a good look at them. They were cute. And... not nearly as idsntical as they had seemed at the glance. Their eyes were unmistakeably different, and she refocused her vision on one of them, the green-eyed twin, before she could be caught staring like a fool. He seemed like the more level-headed of the two; she wished she coulx remeber which name went with which face. Now she felt bad for not paying more attention.

Chris stared at the ground. Suddenly finding out who her father was stopped her from being her usually ill-tempered self. She didn't know what to make of him. "Well, um... Nice to meet you... Dad."
Delilah purred. "Yes, love. I cannot wait! Do you want to start making a possible name list, Elliot dear?" she inquired, delighted by the idea of thinking up names between the two for their new child. She didn't know what kind of name she wanted; hopefully Elliot would have some more ideas than herself.
Zane and Milo looked around the ranch, both suddenly smiling. Zane's was a proud, courageous smirk, while Milo's was more hesitant but far more endearing. Both just stood there for a moment before Emily's question connected to both their brains. "A lot," Zane answered simply, radiating a boyish chuckle soon after. "There's over 100, that's all I know," Milo answered sweetly, scratching the back of his neck.

"It's nice to meet you... again, Chris." He chuckled a bit. "You're not shy, are you? Neither your mother or I have ever been shy."
"I have always rather liked the name Kimberly," the Charizard mused, looking down at Deliliah curiously. "A regal, beautiful name, I opine. It holds grace and dignity. But what do you think, dear? How rude of me, to not let the lady go first!"
"Wow," Tunes said in awe, a smile creeping across her face. "This place is amazing... it's so much bigger than Kiabe's ranch..." And that was her only point of reference. She suddenly felt silly for being so awestruck by a ranch, and her cheeks reddened. She looked away, not wanting these very cute boys who barely knew her seeing how awkward she was being.

"No, I'm not shy," the Houndour immediately defended herself, furrowing her brows. "It's just... weird to have been alive for a year and meet my dad now, out of the blue," Chris protested, lowering her head.
"That's a beautiful name," the Delcatty agreed, and couldn't help but giggle as Elliot beat himself up. "Nonsense, dear. I appreciate your input very much so."
Zane smirked at how awestruck the girl was. "Yeah, well, these are all Ellie's Pokémon," he admitted, scratching his arms. "I only have these guys." As he said that, he reached into his bag and released all of his Pokémon. Flint, a Quilava and Zane's starter, looked around in utter confusion. He watched as Asher, the Sneasel, hopped down from his trainer and the rest of the team, Darius the Murkrow and Lex the Elekid appeared in a red shot of light. The older twin nudged his little brother. "Come on, let your gang out, too," he grinned. Milo nodded and let out his team. Sullivan and Otto were already at, so the two were only joined by Perry the Spinarak and Torrence the Hoothoot.

Don's smile turned a little grim. "I understand. But I wasn't missed, was I?" There was no malice or negativity in the statement, it was simply a question he assumed he knew the answer to. His gae shifted from Chris to Brook. Their relationship had never really been romantic. Did she miss him at all?
"I am glad you feel that way," Elliot replied sincerely, stroking her cheek gingerly. "But tell me, love. What name do you fancy? What kind of title would you like our child to carry through life?"
Tunes looked at the Pokémon admirably for a minute before pulling out and releasing her own. Firecracker the Electrike shook her head nervously, the energy of Radio Tower making her green and yellow fur stand on end for a moment. She was joined by Halloween the Serviper, who looked around the ranch, a bit overwhelmed. Aviator came next, bouncing along the ground as he was released before soaring through the sky energetically. Lemondrop jumped from Tune's pocket and, still wired from her life-saving escepade earlier, put her tiny hands on her hips and stood tall for the boys proudly.
"I'm not much of a trainer," Tunes admitted, looknig at her inexperienced team in comparison to the twins'.

Brook stared at the ground. "I guess," she muttered. She was a proud canine, unable to really confess how much she'd missed her 'boy toy'; not that she considered him one, but she couldn't really find the word to identify their relationship. They weren't exes, they were more than friends, but they were never romantic to each other. In fact, when they weren't simply getting along, they were either bitching or mating. What was up with that?
Delilah thought about it. "I'm been fond of the name Elwood," she smiled lovingly at her Charizard husband. Elwood was capable of inheriting the nickname 'Elliot', which she thought brought deeper meaning to the name. She'd only really starting to admire the name after she got married. "But if it's a girl... I really like the name Lilian," she whispered, blushing.
"Don't say that. You're Pokémon look really cool," Milo whispered, blinking his wide, navy eyes at the Pokémon admirably. "Well, um, this is Otto as you've met already... and this is Sullivan," he gestured to both Croconaw and Teddiursa. "And these two are Perry and Torrence," he introduced the green spider Pokémon and the Hoothoot.
Zane squatted down and rubbed Flint on the head. "This guy's Flint," he grinned, moving his fingers behind the fire type's dark teal ears.
"The Sneasel is Asher." Asher slicked his white claws over his head and winked at the girl.
"The Elekid is Lex." The Elekid crossed his arms in a bored fashion, but managed to feed Tunes a grin, his eyes half-lidded.
"And the Murkrow is Darius," Zane finished, watching with a snort as the Murkrow ruffled his feathers and straightened his composure, puffing out his broad, feathered chest.

Don tilted his head to one side at the evasiveness of the Mightyena. What was going through her head, he wondered? What did she really think of their strange, complicated, and a little shameful relationship? He too, was too proud to admit to her that he had really missed her, or even to himself that he thought he really loved her. Did she know that she could have all of him if she wanted it? He didn't think she did, and he didn't think she would want him anyway. it wasn't like he had been a good father, or a good mate. The word deadbeat creeped up his spine like a ghost. The word that always came to mind to describe his father, who he had never known. He would not let himself become that.
"Mmm," Elliot murmured happily, nodding agreement. "Wonderous names indeed, my love. What elegence they carry, and the wisdom and beauty of someone such as yourself."
Tunes giggled at Asher's performance, before turning to her own. "The Pikachu is Lemondrop," she began, gesturing feebly to the tiny Pokémon who, despite her size, she knew would make herself known quickly if not introduced first. "She's a bit wiley. That's Firecracker and Halloween."
The Serviper and Electrike, as was their tendency, were together, and the older serpant Pokémon was looking at the stranger Pokémon curiously while his companion peeked out from behind his coils. At her name Firecracker's bottom wiggled in what would have been the wagging her her tail if she had a propper tail. Halloween dipped his head, smiling a reptilian smile at the boys and their Pokémon.
"And Aviator brought you the letter." She looked up and as she did the Pidgey landed on her shoulder, dipping his head and cooing in greeting.
With an accomplished sigh Dr. Louis drew himself up and pulled off his gloves. The boy was patched up, and not a moment too soon, for as he stood he started to wake up. However, he was assured that he could feel no pain, and would not for some time. By the time he did, as a matter of fact, he would be out of danger.
"Ms. Eleanor, your friend is awake, and patched up," he called up the stairs, before turning warily back to the injured mutant Pokémon on the couch. The red creature's eyes had not left him the entire time he had worked, he feared, and he did not like the look it was giving him.

Brook scratched the ground, feeling awkward. Chris, by her side, was looking between her mother and her father warily. There was so much tension going on between the two. Why was that? As fr as she was concerned, parents were supposed to love each other, but seeing how her mother avoided the Houndoom's gaze, it was obvious there was a little more to their story. Maybe Uncle Chase would tell her later.
The feline nuzzled his side affectionately. "Thank you," she murmured back, a rumble rising in her chest and escaping silently through her thin, ebony lips.
Zane and Milo both smiled invitingly to Emily's team. "They're really neat," Milo complimented once more, and Zane gave an approving nod.
Asher looked down at the Pikachu, his arms crossed. Not in a way to seem like a tough kid, but it was just something he did. His eyes then flickered to Firecracker, bundled behind the Seviper. Slim pickin's, he noted with dread.

"No thanks is needed, my dearest Delilah; you compliment yourself," he said affectioningly, charishing the sound of her soft, adorable purr. "I only wish I was here to compliment you the way you deserve it, to make you feel like the queen you so clearly are."
"Your Pokémon are very cool too," Tunes said sincerely, smiling at the tough-looking Pokémon admirably. "How long have you been training them?"
Lemondrop eyed Asher warily, seeing the look in his eyes. "You got something to say to us?" she demanded, turning to him boldly.
Halloween turned to the Pikachu uneasily. "Lemondrop, don't start trouble," he sighed, feeling as if he was talkint to a brick wall.
Firecracker bounded from the Serviper's coils and strutted toward her fellow electric type. The Electrike carried herself like a contest Pokémon, but it was completely unintentional; she simply had a very regal walk, but her eyes shined with child-like interest. "Why are you always so hostile, Lemondrop? These Pokémon seem nice!" She dipped her head to Asher politely. "It's very nice to meet you, sir!"
Lemondrop rolled her eyes at the younger Pokémon's naivity.

Elliot was the point of her perfection. Without him by her side, she wasn't complete. And she hoped he knew that. "You are the kindest Pokémon I've ever met, love," she cooed, fluttering her eyelashes at the Charizard. "You are my other half, Elliot. I'm incomplete without you," she whispered, rubbing herself against him.
Zane sat down on the grass, his knees bent and his feet and rump planted firmly on the ground as he leaned back, supported by his hands which were casually thrown back behind him. "About one or two years," he mused, his eyes skyward. It felt much longer than just a year or two, he realized.
Milo watched the Pokémon, his eyes flickering from the small group and back to the humans. "Do you have a ranch, Emily? I-I mean, Tunes," he fretted, intent on not insulting the girl. He wanted to get on good terms with her, and if she wanted to be called 'Tunes', that's exactly what he'll call her... If he wouldn't keep forgetting, that is.
Asher smirked at the small Pokémon, but turned to the Electrike casually. He had a large distaste for drama, and this Pikachu seemed to be the core of it. "Nice to meet you too, kid."
Sullivan watched the tiny Pokémon boldly, and rather rudely should he say so himself, confront his best friend. The shy Teddiursa crossed his hindpaws inward and stared at them, nervously pressing his sharp, tiny claws together on his forepaws. He made a mental note to stay clear of the ill-tempered electric type. But Firecracker seemed nice, as did Halloween.

"And you are more than all of me," Elliot murmured, pulling her into a gentle embrace. "Delilah, I did not know love until I knew you."
"So, Chris," Donetello said, turning to his daughter again. "Do you prefer fire- or dark-type moves?" He smiled wistfully.
Tunes giggled at Milo's awkwardness. At least she wasn't the only fumbling her words and actions. She shook her head no. "Just these guys. Lemondrop, stop that."
The indignant Pikachu turned to her trainer, lowering her ears. Tunes stared back at her, the look on her face intimidating intimidating and leaving no room for arguement, and Lemondrop, dispirited, scowled and ran to her, leaping into per pocket. Tunes watched her with the same hard expression, and then once she was hidden her expression softened again. "Er... sorry about her."
Firecracker watched the Pikachu go silently, and from where he lay a couple feet back Halloween relaxed. Firecracker turned back to Asher and sat. "You are a very handsom Pokémon, Asher. What region are you from?" she asked curiously, sincere interest shining in her eyes.
