Personality:
Judis, having come from an award-winning breeder, was bred to look a little different from most Growlithes. His fur is longer and a brighter orange. The beige fur around his muzzle is "beard-like" and the tuft of his head comes forward rather than back. His tail curls over his back. The black stripes on his hind paws cover the back of his flank and his toes instead of going along his legs. He has floppy ears that are pointed, not round, and is bigger than the average Growlithe. His legs are rather short for his side, but his body is robust and stalky.
Judis is very puppy-like, preferring to play than battle and he has a lot of energy, which, if not handled properly, can turn into destructive behavior. He is a bit spoiled, and tends to pout or get sad when he does not get his way, but he very rarely gets angry. He is very optimistic, usually unrealistically, and likes to daydream.Other:
He was bred as a show dog, but one of the many traits (and most prominent one in him) is his sense of smell. If he smells something that particularly strikes him, he is nearly incapable of ignoring it until he finds its source, and has been known to get lost tracking scents.
The only thing that he really gets serious about is his friend Victoria the Vulpix. She is his best friend and he would do anything to protect her or even just make her happy. Their friendship is so close that they have put off evolving because they want to wait until Note has two fire stones, as they want to do it together.
Judis was carefully bred to be a show dog, but as luck would have it, he did not quite turn out the way his breeder would have liked: He was a bit too big to meet breed standards. Regardless, he loved the Growlithe, and wanted him to go to a good home, so when Note came by and did a little work for him, he happily gave him the young Pokémon as a reward.
Judis adjusted well to trainer life, though to Note's disappointment the Growlithe's attention could not be kept long enough for effective training. Judis grew restless, and started causing trouble. Then Victoria arrived.
The two were immediately inseparable. They formed a close bond that allowed Note to effectively train them both and keep them both happy and healthy. Now they would do anything for each other and are rarely apart.
*As he comes from a popular breeder, it should be noted that Judis probably has many, MANY brothers and sisters about whom he does not know.
