A waitress came over and gave the usual introduction before handing out their menus. "Can I start you off with some drinks?" she asked.
"Sweet tea for me," Tunes said with a smile, before pointing to her brother. "And he'll have a Cola."
The waitress looked at Note, and when he smiled matter-of-factly and nodded she chuckled and wrote down what was told to her. "And how about you?" she asked, looking at Bount.
As Zap laid down by Bount- where he sat put them practically right next to each other -he flinched slightly at the residule static coming off the Jolteon, but when he was sure that it was no stronger, or even weaker, than what Lemondrop usually shocked him with, he relaxed. One large ear pivoted to Tunes, waiting to hear if she would order him anything or if he would just have to beg for scraps.

Bount was alwasy indecisive, and this was no exception. He gave a slow shrug of his shoulders, having no real preference on anything, and practically leaving up to the waitress to decide. Though his head tilted ever-so-slightly, if even noticable as his mp3 switched to it's next song, which started out with a nice and steady bass track in it's opening. Zap tilted a glance towards chance, laying his ears back as he realized what he'd done, "[Oh... Sorry about that...]" he said a bit embarresed as he went to stand up, circling around theBount's chair and laying down on the other side of it. Though a bit discouraged, it didn't stop those alien eyes looking up at the table, waiting for something delicus to come by.

The waitress raised a brow at him, but after a minute with no reply she shrugged. "I'll bring you some water," she said. "And anything for the little guys under the table?"
"Mmmm, anything sweet would be find for him," Tunes replied. "And can I have a little bowl with sweet tea, too?"
The waitress looked at her curiously, but she nodded. "As you wish!" She turned back to Bount.

Bount yet again gave another shrug. Though Zap was not about to be screwed over here. With a hop he pawed down one of the menus from the table and nosed it open on the ground. He may not be somme genius Pokémon, but reading human was easy enough, and he knew -exactly- what he wanted, and when he did, he gave a bark and put his paw on top of the menu option, "light coffee". And if the waitress didn't get that, she was more dense than Bount. The bet part was Austrays wasn't here to scold him for it either.

The waitress watched Zap's feat in surprise. She leaned forward to look more closely at what he pointed out and laughed. "Light coffee. Are you sure about that?"
"[Coffee? Why do you need coffee?]" Chance muttered, looking at the Jolteon in surprise. He was no expert on such things, but on the few occasions that Tunes had had coffee, it had made her so hyper and jittery that she could barely function. Zap was already so hyper that... well, why did he need to be more hyper.
Note peered down at the menu with a raised brow, and then back at Bount to see if he was even going to react. Though, he wouldn't be too surprised if he didn't. Still, he couldn't help but think that letting an already hyper Pokémon drink coffee was incredibly irresponsible.
Tunes raised a brow as well, but she was not in any way critical of Bount's carelessness. She watched the exchange in silent, as did Lemondrop, balancing between the metal weave of the table carefully.

Zap's brow furowed as he looked over at chance, sitting on his hind legs as he held himself high, "" and with that he looked up at the waitress, waiting for her to get his damn coffee.
Bont did make a reaction, though all he did was look down towards Zap, pausing for a moment as if to ask Zap if he was really sure. Though as Zap completely ignored him, still staring with focus at the Waitress, Bount looked forward again, offering no objection or words.

The waitress shook her head but shrugged. "Alright. A light coffee for the Jolteon. I'll be back in a minute." And she turned and walked away.
Chance's ears perked as he watched the waitress walk away. He was sure that if coffee was as bad as he had thought it was, someone would object, but since no one did, now he was curious.
The waitress returned a minute later and set down all their drinks. She had brought Chance a sweet fruit punch and sat Tunes' tea down, along with a small cup filled with tea next to it. As she did Lemondrop, who had hardly moved since she had made herself comfortable, hopped over to the cup and started to drink.
The waitress gasped in surprise and jumped nearly a foot in the air. "My word! Is that a real Pokémon?"
"Yup," Tunes replied, taking a sip of her drink. She was so used to this conversation that she simply wanted to avoid it. "Eli, Bount, you ready to order?"
"I guess," Note replied, flipping open his menu and then closing it quickly enough to send a breeze to his face.

Bount once again looked down, although he did it quite sluggishly, towards Zap as the waitress set down the bowl of light coffee in front of the jolteon. Though he didn't offer anything of judgement or reaction, as he turned back to his own menu, one could swear he was probably still watching his Pokémon.
Lacking a tail with which to wag, Zap shook his whole body with excitement, discharging a couple small sparks in the process. His head dipped down, initially sniffing the light brown liquid, to which his eyes instantly lit up. "[ Ohh-ho-ho, it smells amazing!]"
All the while, Bount pointed to the most plain and boring option on the menu. A ham and cheese sandwhich, with only a long pause before the idea of proper manners dawning on him, even though he didn't look towards the waitress, "...Please."

"Sure thing, sweetie," the waitress chuckled, scribbling down the order.
"I'll have a turkey club," Tunes ordered. "No tomato."
"...Same," Note said with a shrug. "Except tomato and no mayo."
"Alright, out in a jiffy." With that she walked away.
Chance's eyes kept shifting from his bowl to Zap's curiously as he watched him drink. Finally he lifted his head from his punch and sniffed the air. His tail swished as he caught the smell of the coffee, but he could not decide if he liked it or not.

Zap easily sucked down a good portion of the drink by now, his head popping up with a contented burp. He then laid himself down, enjoying tghe chance the relax and proving more than anything he was his trainer's Pokémon as his eyes lidded closed and ears did their occasional twitch. Though the usual sparks rippling through his fur seemed to grow somewhat more frequent after his half finished drink...
All the while, Bount simply sat in his chair, the two strangers at his either side, not as if he could hear a word going on though, with his headphones over his ears blaring some music that sounded more in place of a climax point in a video game, loud enough for even the other two to hear. Chance figured that this was his chance if ever there was one. He crept forward, his nose pulled toward the coffee. "Hey, Zap," he muttered. "Can I try that?"
Lemondrop's ears perked at the music, and she began bouncing on her heels to the beat. "" she chirped, her tail twitching excitedly as she hopped around the table in an awkward dance.
Tunes watched her with an amused grin. She had never seen the little Pikachu so animated by music before.

Zap's ears idly twitched still, somehow still in tune with the music, resting easily as he digested his coffee. His fur starting to let out the occasional sound of a jolt, even though no danger was present, but there was definitley much more energy than there should be.
Zap, though, merely mumbled at Chance. As to what he actually said, was anyone's guess. But it was more than obvious he wasn't guarding that bowl with his life or anything.

Chance happily took that for a yes. He grabbed the bowl by the rim, pulled it to his side of the table, and lapped up what was left in the bowl. It wasn't until he had finished every last drop that he realized he absolutely hated the taste. His lips curled, and he shook his head, trying to clear his mouth of the taste. A low growl escaped his lips. "[That's awful!]" he barked.
Tunes looked down at him in surprise at his spazz. "Chance, what are you doing?" she muttered, putting her hand on his head. "Lay down."
The looked up at her with an expression somewhere between 'Oh no, I've been caught with my hand in the cookie jar!' and 'Help! I'm stuck in the cookie jar!' But then he slide to the floor, and when Tunes was not looking he kicked the bowl back toward Zap.

As seemingly perfect timing as the universe would like; Zap's eyes soon shot open, the caffiene taking effect as his alien eyes darted around and before anyone could even realize, a loud thunderous crack and scorched trail was all that remained as he excitedly ran with his newfound energy.
The event was enough to even make Bount tilt his head, followed with a very sluggish turn, assumingly staring at the trail Zap had left from beneath the brim of his hat. His voice coming out slow as ever as he made his lax reaction, "... Knew it."

Chance was thrown back with a startled yelp, though he was more or less unharmed, and Tunes let out a little cry. Note jumped back, watching the scorched trail where the where the jolteon had been in shock. "Oh, shit," he muttered in shock.
