"We can get them, huh Houdini?" The Kadabra nodded, and Kiabe started into the building. But at the door she paused and she looked over her shoulder, hoping that someone who knew the building better would come in with her. It had been a year or two since she had been in the Radio Tower, and she had completely forgotten the layout; she could not even remember if it was complicated or simply several giant rooms leading to the top.
Tunes smiled and pulled out another poffin, tossing it so that it left only a couple feet between them. She could tell that the poor Houndour hadn't had a decent meal in weaks. It made her sick, thinking about how Team Rocket had mistreated all those Pokémon... And she felt that this one was special. There had to be a reason that he was helping Donetello, and that he had been the only one revived. She wanted so badly to help him, to repay him for what he had done.

Zane caught Kiabe's glance and nudged Milo. "Otto was in there before; he can help lead the way," he encouraged, glancing between the trainer and the Croconaw. Before Milo even had a chance to object or agree, Otto bolted off and ran towards the dark-haired girl, looking up at her with crimson eyes.
Solitaire didn't bother to show how wary he was as he strut over and picked up the other poffin. He was, however, placed at unease by the short amount of space between the girl and himself. Humans were cruel creatures; a lesson he'd never forget. He could remember as clear as day as one of the larger humans he liked to poke fun at hit Nikki... That had actually been one of the times that Don had visited the gang again.

Kiabe smiled and ran after the Pokémon.
Houdini looked at Otto cooly as the bluenpokemon joined him. "What has gone on here?" He asked, looking Round as the first floor of Pokémon came into sight.

"My trainer and his brother got a message from the other girl's Pidgey, saying that this building was on fire. I had to put it out," he frowned. It had been a hard job for one simple Pokémon; at least he'd gotten it done and managed to save most of the building at the same time. "As far as I know, there was some sort of ruthless battle here... and on the top floor, I swear I could smell..."
The water Pokémon stopped his sentence short, swallowing. "Corpses. There were dead bodies in the other room. Whether they were murdered or burned alive, I don't know... But there's not alive Pokémon or humans up there so we might as do the floor below it and under."

Houdini'sn eyes widened. "I see..." He stopped, facing the room.
Kiabe looked around the room, biting her lip thoughtfully. This floor had most of the flying types and the smaller of ghe heavy Pokémon, while the other floor had the larger Pokémon, like the Houndooms and th Nido- evolutions. "Teleport to my ranch, Houdini," she instructed.
The Kadabra nodded, and as he focused his pyschic pkwer the room was illumintated by purple light, and then empty.

Otto wiped a paw over his forehead. "That's neat," he complimented the Kadabra, ready to turn around and head back to Milo. "So, are you guys going to come back to Ellie's ranch with us, assuming that's where the twins and female are going?" he inquired.

Kadabra dipped his head at the compliment and then thought about the question for a moment. "Why, I've not the slightest idea," he admitted, looking at Kiabe.
The girl, unable to understand what the Pokémon were saying, returnec his look blankly. "Oh, I really hate it when you give me that look..."
Tunes pulled out another poffin and placed it in front of her, at arm's length. She looked at the Houndour lightly. She knew that if he was a wild Pokémon she was stretchinv his tolerance with her closeness, but she was determined to help him.

Otto crossed his arms. "I wish we could really communicate with humans," he huffed. "We understand what they're saying, but never do they understand us."
Solitaire sat down and began to stroke his forepaw over his downy-furred belly before he was offered another one. He was being naive, he knew, but at least this chick wasn't like Team Rocket. He'd gone in and saved his kind, and while Solitaire would never fess up, he was grateful to these creatures to be out of the chains that bound him to the terrible group. He accepted the next poffin easily, though still made sure he didn't relax completely.

"I agree," Houdini said grimly, nodding. "It is very frustrating, especially when they do not even try to listen." He quickly went to the next floor, telepoeted the remaining Pokémon to Kiabe's ranch, and returned, gestueing down the stairs to Kiabe as he descdnded the stairs. Houdini had always been an independant Pokémon, and Kiabe was used to his infering and descicion making. He almost always made a choice she agreed with, so she followedhim without hesitation.
Tuneswatched him tentatively and slowly reached her hand out toward him.

Otto followed after the Kadabra as well, only a step behind him. "Is there any way of asking her? Like, as a psychic Pokémon, do you have telepathy or telekinesis?" Otto asked, his eyes growing excited at the idea.
Milo usually understood what he was saying, but sometimes he would get a miss-message, or not understand directly. It was a little unfair, and Otto would sometimes complain with his best friend, Zane's starter Pokémon, Flint.
Solitaire looked curiously as she stuck out her hand. What was she doing? There wasn't any poffin in her hand; he wasn't stupid like when a dog is tossed a ball but the human still holds on and the canine goes rushing after it... Nu uh, that wasn't him.

"Telepathy? No..." His telekinesis and teleportation abilities had always bewn very strong, but Houdini had never managed to master telepathy. Still, Kiabe could be very receptive when she wanted to, but her mind was in a thousand places right now. He could not hold her attention when she was so worried about the Pokémon and her frienx, the blonde one. He would have to wait. Maybe it would come up between the humans.
The look on the Houndour's face made her giggle, and as soon as she did ahe felt silly for it. The belittling look on his face was justified, she realkzed, and she pulled her hand back slowly. A movement from the corner of her eye made her turn and she saw Lemondrop running toward her. She colapsed to the ground at Tune's side, sides heaving.
"They left me!" The Pikachu cried indignantly between pants. "Every single one of them forgot about me!"

Otto shrugged. "Yeah, they usually seem to talk about stuff like this, I've noticed. I'm Otto by the way," the Croconaw finally introduced, smiling and sticking out his paw.
Solitaire cocked a brow at her giggle and stood still until he saw a midget Pikachu collapse next to the trainer's feet. Then, the Houndour snorted with laughter. "Holy hell, how small were you as a Pichu?" he snorted, cackling harshly.

"Houdini," the Kadabra introduced himswlf, shaking the Croconaw's paw with a strong handshake. "Nice to meet you."
Lemondrop glared at him irritably. "Oh, never heart THAT one before," she said flattly. "You're one to talk, bat ears. What the heck are you doing, are you with uz or not?"

"Likewise," the water type smiled, impressed with the Kadabra's powerful handshake. He exited the building, relieved by the crisp air. Even if he'd only been in the ash laden building for a few minutes, fresh air was always inviting.
Solitaire shimmied up and straightened himself. "Thanks. I take pride in my ears," he smirked, looking down at the tiny Pikachu. He furrowed his brow at her question. "I'm with Don if anyone here... even though technically he ditched me. I need to get back to my gang."

Houdini felt the same way. He looked around, trying to catch up what he had missed.
Kiabe did the same. After seeing Tunes with the two Pokémon she instead turned her attention to the twins. "So... what exactly happened here?" She asked, happy for any bit of comorehension the boys could add to her understanding.
Lemondrop's ears perked up. "He ditched me too! Elliot took everybody to... a ranch, I think." She huffed, jumping up and looking at Tunes. "We need to go! There's nothing left to do here and I need to give them a peice of my mind!" She paused, and glanced back at Solitaire. "We should probably take him somewhere too."
