Ellie plopped back down on her rump and began to pull on the pants, gazing with a cocked brow at Tunes as she looked at the futon with interest. She followed the blond's gaze, noticing the absence of the three Eeveelutions. Where had they gone? They were certainly still in the Condo...
Angelo's fur began to prickle as EV came over and rested her head on Note's other leg. The Umbreon's eyes narrowed briefly before he turned away, his temple and cheek now against the Trainer's leg, the top of his head and neck now facing the Flareon/Umbreon mix.

Figuring the same thing Ellie had, she shrugged it off. They really could not get into much trouble in the condo. "You ever wonder what Pokémon talk about?" she sighed, putting her hands on her hips.
EV raised a brow at him and laughed shortly. "You're such a child." Her eyes softened. "You're no better than Chance right now."

"All the time," Ellie grinned, a short giggle wavering in her tone. "Why? Are you thinking about what Chance, EV, and Angelo talk about while we're in our own conversations? I often do."
Angelo's ears pricked and he looked back up at her with confused, scarlet eyes. ("What are you talking about,") the Umbreon muttered, huffing stubbornly. He could feel his ears heat up with embarrassment, seeing her eyes soften. There she went, teasing him again... but at least it wasn't in the same way they wanted to beat up Lemondrop...

Tunes nodded. "Vivian's such a strange Pokémon, she doesn't really seem to like most people, or Pokémon... but she loves Chance. I just don't understand why." She shrugged, smiling. "Not that there's anything wrong with that, I suppose," she added with a giggle.
"Stop pouting," she growled lightly. "You're so pathetic sometimes..."
Note looked between them, a puzzled look on his face. Were they fighting? Or flirting? Both didn't really seem like a thing either of them would do. And now he was literally stuck in the middle of them. He probably would have moved if he had anywhere to go."

"Honestly, when I first saw Vivian and Chance, I thought he was her son," she chuckled nervously, crawling back to the bed once she had her pants on. She wasn't too big on changing her shirt anymore; this one was comfy.
Angelo raised his head, defensive. ("Gee, thanks. Is that supposed to make me feel better? You're great at cheering people up, did you know that?") he growled sarcastically, getting to his paws and staring down at the mixed Eeveelution. ("EV, seriously, if my mere presence is enough to stop you from smiling, I don't understand why you can stand being in the same room as me.") The Umbreon's eyes were stone cold, but mostly from his uneasy, overwhelming emotions. He walked our of the room, his head hanging low and his ears pressed back against his head. His movements were lean but slow as he exited and crawled under the futon, curling into a tight ball on the carpeted ground.

Tunes smiled. "Well, she certainly does treat him that way at times. But no." She shook her head. "I found Chance in the woods. He is definitely not Vivian's."
EV blinked, lifting her head and watching him leave with a blank expression. A pit was forming in her stomach again: that oh-so-unwelcome feeling of guilt.
Note looked down at her, frowning. "Pokémon drama is just as intense as people drama, isn't it, Vivian?"
She growled in response, slowly getting to her paws and following Angelo.

"Really? In the woods? I found Angelo in the woods, too. Well, my Meganium, Flora, did actually," she explained, slipping back onto her bed. She wasn't sure if she wanted to exactly explain how Angelo was welcomed into the team... she didn't want to give Tunes a bad first impression on her Meganium.
Angelo pressed himself against the ground as he heard more footsteps trailing after him. EV, stop! I don't need you lecturing me right now! he hissed in his mind, tensing his muscles. She was bound to find him. He pressed his eyes shut, pretending to be asleep already.

Tunes laughed a bit. "What are the chances?" She turned as she saw Angelo run and hide under the futon, and Vivian follow him.
EV slowed as she saw the Umbreon curled up under the futon, her brow furrowing. "Angelo," she said, sitting in front of him.

Ellie smiled as she laughed, silently relieved she hadn't asked for a story. She blinked as Tunes turned her head to see Angelo crawl under the futon. What was his deal? She was about to approach and try to find out what had gotten to him, but EV apparently beat him first.
Angelo sighed but said nothing, his brows furrowed as he did everything he could to avoid eye contact with the red mutt. Just leave me alone...

"What did I do to you?" she demanded, frowning in frustration. Was what Chance said really getting to him that much? She didn't understand. She had never thought Angelo the type to pout.
As Tunes watched the two a look of curiosity crossed her face. "Ellie, do these two have... history, or something?" she looked back at the girl quizzically.

Angelo inwardly groaned, readying himself to explain. ("EV, you never smile when I'm around. Never. The only "smiles" I've ever seen you make is when someone screws up or your tearing up furniture,") he rolled his eyes, his gaze hardening. ("And you're mean to everyone else when I'm around too. I obviously just bring out the bad side in you. And when I try to fix it by leaving, you follow me. Why?")
Ellie furrowed her brows. "Well, they were very close when me and Note met up. Where ever you found an EV, you'd find an Angelo, basically. They never fought but I never noticed anything romantic between them either," she noted, trying to think back to a year ago as far as her mind could stretch.

Her frown deepened. ". . . You realize that Chance was stoned out of his gourd when he said that stuff, right?"
"..Ah." She continued to watch the two, again wondering what they must be thinking. Of all the Pokémon she had ever met, she had always wanted to know most what was on EV's mind. She was just so unpredictable...

Angelo put on a defensive expression. ("This isn't about Chance! Don't you realize that it's true?") he frowned, shaking his head as he crawled out from under the futon, intent on leaving again. But where would he go? And what was to say EV wouldn't continue to follow him and make him just look like a dope. Instead, he just stared at the Pokémon with hurt eyes.
Ellie played with her thumbs, looking away from the Umbreon and Flareon/Umbreon. Was Note going to come back soon? She knew that Tunes had said otherwise but now that he was here, she felt terrible that she wasn't able to spend time with him...

She stared at him in disbelief. How could he possible be this dense? Had she ever heard of anybody saying she smiled? How was she supposed to explain to him that Chance was the only one that made her smile? It sounded stupid when she said it in her head. "Why do you even care that much?" she growled, becoming defensive. "You never cared before!"

Angelo's fur stopped bristling and he looked almost shocked. He narrowed his eyes, his frown deepening. ("I always cared, EV. You were just too self-absorbed to notice it,") he growled lightly, his tone like ice. With that, the Umbreon turned towards the door and slipped out, closing it behind him. Some life-risking food-hunting would get his mind off of her... even though he knew fully well there were fresh Pokeblocks back in the Condo.
Ellie stared after the Pokémon, flabbergasted. "...Great."
