Note smiled. It was creepy, how much this Pokémon looked like his Vivian, and yet she was so different. "Where did you find her, Emily?"
"Outside in the flower feild," Tunes muttered.
"Hmmm," the boy muttered thoughtfully. He stood. "Alright. I bet Elliot could help us. He pulled out the Pokéball. "Come on. Let's go back to the scene of the crime." With that he started through the street, back toward the flower patch.
"You're not as smart as you think you are, Fishtail," EV muttered, not meeting his eyes.

Vivian follwed the group, hoping that once they got there she would be helpful.
"Neither are you." He said matter-of-factly. "Atleast I'm smart enough to be happy.

As they got to the edge of the city Note tossed Elliot's Pokéball into the air, and in a flash of red light the orange dragon appeared, landing neatly on the path in front of them. He looked down at Vivian and his eyes widened. "My, hello there, my dear," he said, nodding politely.
"No, you're dumb enough to be happy," EV corrected, her eyes narrowing. "You've led a narrow, cushy life. Haven't seen enough to be unhappy."

"Hello!" Vivian said in a friendly matter, smiling politely.
"Well, if I had been through hardships, I'd be happy they were over." He said. They stope at a busy road. "There's no point being unhappy."

Elliot's eyes shined. He leaned forward and took Vivian's paw as he dipped his head. "It's an honor to meet your acquaintance, my dear. My name is Elliot, and it would be my pleasure to help you with whatever it may be you need assistance."
As Note and Tunes watched the Pokémon they were sure that this was certainly not their Vivian. "Elliot, think you can help us find out where this Pokémon belongs?" Note asked.
Elliot looked form his trainer back to Vivian and released her paw.
EV shrugged as they came to a stop and lifted one paw, the paw whose shoulder she had a limp, off the ground. "Some hardships are never over."

"Nice to meet you, too. I'm Vivian. You can call me Vivi."
He looked at the paw and thought about how she was limping. "But the worst part is. Like a shot durring a visit to the Pokémon center."

"My word," Elliot said, intruiged. "Vivi, my dear... It appears that you have communicated to my trainer that you are lost," he murmured. "Is there some way we could, perhaps, help you get home?" He looked around. "It seems we too have lost our companion, who goes by Vivian as well, and she looks a bit like you. Might you know where we could find her?"
"Couldn't relate to that," she muttered. "Never had a shot."

"Hm." She tilted her head thoughtfully. "My trainer was going to do a contest." She looked towards the city. The contest building was a visible dome at the edge of the flower patch. "Over there."
He looked a bit shocked, but quickly hid it. "Well... you get the point."

Elliot followed her gaze. "So that is where you think we may find her?" he clarified.
"Yeah... I guess," she muttered monotonously. "...Where are we going?"

"I think so... but if she doesn't like people she might not have stayed..."
"Hm?" He looked around. "Oh... I think she's heading back to our hotel room to get something."

Elliot frowned. "Would you please tell me what your trainer looks like? I'm sure she's as lovely as you."
EV frowned. "Ah."

She smiled. "Karla has light brown hair, she's a little tall and David- He's a cofagrigus is always out of his Pokéball with her. Charlie might be out, too. He's a vaporeon. Also, she's always wearing something nice."
They reached a tall building and Karla stopped to consider if she should bring EV inside. The Pokémon's aggression still disturbed her.

Elliot nodded. "Alright. Please wait a moment." He turned to his trainer and bean rapidly fingerspelling. Both Note and Tunes watched his claws, and when he had finished Note nodded. "Alright. Come on, Emily. Thanks, Elliot." He pulled out the Charizard's Pokéball again and called him back. Before he disappeared inside Elliot waved to Vivian. "I wish you the best," he managed before he dematerialized into the red light.
A loud roll of thunder rumbled through the city. EV looked up, a spark of pleasure coming into her eyes as she saw the sky rapidly darkening. She sat and her tail swished once before it wrapped around her paws. "I'll wait out here," she muttered without taking her eyes off the sky.

As the thunder struck in the sky, she looked up fearfully and darted over to Tunes. She hated rain.
Charlie looked at her curiously. "I'll wait with you." He said, waving his tail at his train, she slid into the building.

Tunes looked down at the mutant Eeeveelution worriedly. "Note... I don't think this Pokémon likes rain like Vivian," she said, looking at her brother. "Maybe we should duck into a building."
Note glanced at Vivian, frowned, and nodded agreeement. As they came into the town he turned sharply and opened the doors to a Pokémon center for his sister, who rushed inside. They just beat the rain.
Another roll of thunder, and the rain pushed through the town like a roaring gray wall.
EV slid to the ground and closed her eyes, relishing the feeling of the thick droplets pelting her back. Her body relaxed in a way it had not since she had ended up with the wrong trainer.
